Punto ciego / Blindspot
El peso de la luz ciega sus ojos ya cansados,
parpadea.
Se pierde en el filo de la luz que entra por la ventana,
parpadea.
No percibió su existencia hasta que fue muy tarde,
Respira como si fura la última vez,
Deja que todos los recuerdos la inunden.

She get lost in the edge of the light that enters through the widow,

Its existence was not notice util it was too late,
Breathe as if it were the last time,
She let all the memories invade her.
La exposición propone un recorrido visual/háptico en el cual el cuerpo aparece, desaparece y adquiere diferentes nociones de materialidad en su condición de imagen. Reflexionando sobre la creación de imágenes desde la experiencia táctil.
Exposición conformada por una instalación con telas translucidas suspendidas desde el techo, un video proyectado desde el fondo y un video a un costado de las telas. Las telas están separadas una de otra, lo que le permite al visitante caminar entre ellas.
La pieza se generó a partir de un performance en donde intervine con marcas de mi cuerpo las telas que conforman la instalación. Con las fotografías del registro del proceso hice una animación con dibujo digital que se proyecta sobre las telas. El video del costado, explora la relación con el cuerpo del otro y el cuerpo en el espacio, desde un acercamiento poético.
Al ser tela translucida y con la luz del proyector al fondo, el cuerpo del visitante genera sombras que se vuelven parte de la pieza, proponiendo un diálogo entre el cuerpo del otro y mi propio cuerpo. La imagen de mi cuerpo se desdobla para dar paso a una experiencia corporal.
La exposición se presentó en la galería Página en blando el 24 de noviembre de 2017 en la Ciudad de México.

The exhibition proposes a visual / haptic path in which the body appears, disappears and acquires different notions of materiality in its image condition. Reflecting on the creation of images from the tactile experience.
Exhibition consisting of an installation with translucent fabrics suspended from the ceiling, a video projected from the back and a video on one side of the fabrics. The fabrics are separated from one another, allowing the visitor to walk between them.
The piece was generated from a performance where I intervened with the marks of my body the fabrics that make up the installation. With the photographs of the record of the process I made an animation with digital drawing that is projected on the fabrics. The video on the side, explores the relationship with the body of the other and the body in space, from a poetic approach.
As the fabric is translucent and with the light of the projector in the background, the visitor's body generates shadows that become part of the piece, proposing a dialogue between the body of the other and my own body. The image of my body unfolds to give way to a bodily experience.
